OUR STORY
We created Meteo.Space because we have a responsibility to our family, children and society
– Young Choi & Frank Trevino
Young Choi and Frank Trevino crossed paths at a space conference in 2018. Young was from South Korea, living in the US, and Frank was from the US but spent 5 years in South Korea. Both shared a like-minded interest in space innovation and sustainability.
Young’s experience in GIS satellite-based monitoring solutions and Frank’s experience in data platforms and sustainability innovation lead to more conversations. In 2019, Young and Frank began to explore environmental monitoring combined with data platforms to address gaps and opportunities around sustainability initiatives.
Following the pandemic lockdown in 2021, Young and Frank transitioned their ideas into validated system designs and multiple IP solutions. In early 2022, they officially formed Meteo.Space.
